Meet the Crash of Knowsley Safari! Our Rhino Experience offers you the chance to go behind the scenes at the Rhino enclosure to learn what it takes to look after these magnificent animals.

What will you get up to? For around one hour and a half, you will have the chance to join the animal team in preparing and supporting them with their morning duties as they get ready for the rhino to be released into their enclosure. This unique opportunity allows you to witness the daily tasks of a rhino keeper, which may involve activities such as giving the rhinos a mud bath.

The Rhino Experience is available for adults and children aged 8 years and over. However, children under 18  must be accompanied by an adult who also has an Experience voucher. 

Please note the accompanying adult may be required to go behind the scenes during the experience with the participant and it is therefore not suitable for the accompanying adult to be supervising another non-participating child. 

We can allow a maximum of 4 people per experience from the same family.

Our Rhino experiences run on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the year. The sessions must be pre-booked. Please note these are non-transferable and non-refundable.
